I have the most wonderful penpal who lives in germany! She writes me the most wonderful letters ever!I have been her penpal since I was in 6th grade and she is the only one of the four I had who still writes to me. I was telling her just the other day in a letter that I hoped we would stay penpals forever. And when we are old ladies still write letters to one another! Writing letters, not email, is one of the most wonderful things in the entire world! Especially if they are far away where they are not in your same circle of friends because you don't have to explain the latest gossip to them or talk about what your problems are. For once you can just tell them good things and how much you like to receive their letters and write to them.
Although writing letters and sending them all the way across the world is not the most efficient way to have a friend, but of all other ways it is the most fun! I also have a penpal in Hawaii and one in Wisconsin that I have known since first grade! I tried to find a penpal in France so that I could practice my french, but I have not been successful yet!): I will try to connect with a family I know in Switzerland who speak french, which would be lots of fun. I encourage any body who does not have a penpal to try and find one. Although I would not suggest using one of those online penpal finders because who knows who those people really are.
Anyway back to a happier subject I have started another blog, which every one should check out! I will be posting recipes for food tat I make (mostly desserts) since those are my favorites. Who knows how long I will be able to keep up two blogs, but lets hope for the best! Till next time
