My great grandmother Taber wore this wedding dress, which has been handed down to me since I was named after her. Well not my first name, but my middle name. It is so old that some of the lace is so thin it rips when you touch it. It has also been attacked by moths which doesn't make it any easier to keep it from ripping. She must of worn a corset underneath the top because it is so tiny! I am a tiny person and I doubt I will be able to fit into it in a couple years.Thursday, March 11, 2010

More Recycling!
Hello again everyone! I know its been a really long time since I posted something, but I have been very busy with school and all that jazz!! These are some pictures of my recycled creations. The image above is made out of newspaper and plastic bags. Yeah so exciting!
This shirt is made from a Sprungli bag, which is the most marvelous chocolaterie and passtrie shop in all of Switzerland! And probably all the world! Any way the skirt with it is tha same as above! The only thing that was not recycled in these outfits is the thread I used to sew the pieces together! I hope every one enjoys my blog and continues to visit it!
