Crazed Imperfection!

My continued obsession with MiuMiu I am sure will never end!! I have had so much school work and been so busy doing other things when my school work is done that I have had no time to post anything!! I doubt any one really noticed, but oh well. I have been trying to find a job to support my shopping needs and save up for my exchange program next year!! So excited. Well anyway, these shoes are amazing and I definitely want a pair!

I have been playing tennis all the time and it is so much fun and for once in my life time I have a tan line!! It is honestly amazing and I can't believe it, but it is true! This is really short because I am super busy and still need time to cram out a few ideas this weekend!! Have a lovely day!

Hipstamatic

Here are some of the pictures I took with the Hipstamatic app for the iphone! I was taking pictures of random things as I drove by... well I wasn't driving, but yeah. The picture above was kind of by accident, but I really like it.

This picture I took because of that cool cloud in the upper left corner, it looked like a burst of powder and a little later it started to look like flames! It was the coolest cloud ever! Well any way the drive way an intense 12 hours in the car... Surprisingly I have done it many times before. This is kind of a boring post, so i will end it now.

This is my adorable cousin!!! Love him! I am in love with a coat, an amazing coat that I want so bad!!! I will get this coat one day and I will keep it for the rest of my life(: oh day dreams!

St. Honore, Lake Oswego

While I was visiting my grandparents in Lake Oswego, my grandma took me to this lovely french boulangerie where they sold amazing french foods!! Including their most delicious sandwiches! They had pastries and desserts and beautiful bread, and french drinks like Perrier and Lemonade. Oh, it was so lovely! If only there was one like that where I live!

I cannot wait to go back to school and tell my french teacher about this amazing place and other french things that I cannot remember at the moment. I am not sure what to expect next year in school... I am kind of afraid and yet really excited! Tonight was my last sewing class (tear) I am really sad because I liked that class a lot and it was fun and every one was nice and the teacher was so inspiring and amazing and she knew so much about sewing and had so much more information to share!!! I want more!!! I am really hoping I will be able to take another class in the fall even though I didn't plan for it and this time a flat pattern class so i can make my own desgns into patterns that will fit me exactly how I want them too!!!

When I finish the dress that I started in that class I will post a picture of it! I like it a lot and hope it fits me well! Tomorrow I am going to China town and I am missing this concert that I really wanted to see, but I didn't want to go alone to another one and I will be seeing many more now that my mom will start inviting me more often. Well, it's late and I am tired so I will try to sleep, but since my brother has his friends over who are just the meanest, the three of them together, I guess I will just read...

Summery Clouds

Hello, I know it has been a long time since I wrote! I have pictures to share from a trip I went on, but they are on my phone so I will put them up as soon as possible! There is this app for the iphone called the hipstamatic and it takes amazing vintage looking pictures! It is awesome! I just love it so much because vintage pictures are the coolest things ever!
This music video is really cool! I love how it is all put together! It must have taken soo long! Any way, I don't have much else to say, so I'll keep this post short and sweet! Bye bye(:

Cloudy Skys

Today is cloudy and cold, nothing like summer at all. That is not so bad since I am craving fall fashion, but since my head hurts like a ***** it is not going to be enjoyed. Excuse my bad language, you might have noticed my bad mood... Sorry I have not posted in a while... It's not that I have been too busy it is just that I have been else where, you know just thinking about other things and doing other things.

On another subject, I love these pictures! I am sure they are from an earlier vogue and I wish I had that magazine, because they are so lovely. I think I am just in a super strange cat mood... Miu Miu, cat ears, nails, I kind of feel like a pissed off lazy cat too. This kind of reminds me of when I was little and thought one day I would find out I was part cat... I was also obsessed with cat woman... used to be. I was going through September 2008 Vogue cutting out advertisements to hang on my wall... I know it is a little past those trends, but I couldn't get myself to cut up my vogues, they are a collection... I had two of the issue I cut up by the way. I have had all these cool ideas lately, but they are impossible to bring to life since I don't have the materials I need. Some day all my dreams will come true and I hope yours will too. My cat just sat on my lap(:

Miu Miu and Fancy Nails!

I am not normally the kind of person who likes to paint their nails, because it always starts to get chipped after a couple days and I am so bad at painting nails!! I get the nail polish all over my fingers and then it doesn't come off! Any way, as I said earlier I was painting my nails because I found this awesome idea for painting your nails with Miu Miu's new fashion fabric patterns and I did it. My right hand looks like crap because I cannot draw with my left hand especially on nails, but it was so fun and I actually did an okay job. The picture above is my right hand and I am actually kind of proud... don't judge, this is good, for me... I drew the birds with black sharpie that I wish had been a little bit finer and the silver dots with silver sharpie. The picture I saw had jewels instead of dots, but I didn't have jewels or any idea how to put them on my nails!! The book in the back ground is Stieg Larsson's "The Girl Who Played with Fire" ( It is a really good and very interesting book by the way) Ta ta for now(:

Hector Guimard and Vintage Vogue!

Hector Guimard, a french architect, designs the most amazing buildings! Some of them look like the one above which have many different types of designs and could very possibly be corners of very different buildings, but they are not! He also makes very beautiful furniture and some sculpture stuff! The very well known Metropolitan signs in France are done by him. All i want to do is move to France and live in a building or house designed by him!!!

I found a couple pictures of vintage Vogues which I think are so much fun! If only I could look through the pages and see all the fashion! It is probably really hard to get a hold of vintage ogue magazines. Any way I am trying to paint my nails, which I am usually really bad at, but it is actually not going so badly... I am letting them dry while I type(:

Any way I have been trying to find something... but I don't know what it is. I am not even sure if it is an object, or an article of clothing, or some emotion. I just cannot tell! Have a lovely day!

Figaro!!

My dad keeps sending me these awesome pictures!! This car is so adorable!! It's a Japanese car very far away from home!! (Words from my dad) Any way I don't really have much else to say besides that I almost can't wait till fall... I know it sounds insane, but fall fashion is awesome and I do want to see what Sophmore year is gonna be like!! Hopefully not too hard. but every one keeps telling me sophmore year is harder and it matters way more than freshman year.

Ticino, Switzerland

My dad sent me these pictures from Switzerland, I am pretty sure they were taken in a restaurant in Ascona, where we had Italian pizza last time we were there. Any way I am super jealous of him because he gets to be in Switzerland having tons of fun, my sister has moved away for six months and my brother is gone for two weeks. I am going to be so lonely.... In addition to that my mom works all day every day, so yeah... I do have friends, but they are always busy... if you know what I mean.

I have been sorting through all my fabric and getting rid of the pieces that are not so pretty. You see some body who was moving away gave me a bunch of their fabric that they used for quilting so most of it is small pieces and some is actually quite hideous. Well, I guess I will go for a bik ride instead of sitting at home(:

Retro Patterns

For my sewing class at the J.C. I had to get a pattern and fabric to make as a project. I went to Joann Fabrics yesterday because they were having a sale. I found some really cool retro patterns! They are always the coolest!!! But the store was so confusing and it was impossible to find anything I needed!!! I really never want to go there again because it was so dumb and annoying! I seriously got a head ache from being there so long. Any way I love these patterns. Originally I wanted to make the first pattern pictured, but I could not find the right fabric for it so I got fabric for the second and third.

When I am shopping for sewing stuff I just can't help but buy some things and it is really surprising how things add up to a large price so quickly!! Well, there is one store called The Legacy, I think I am going to volunteer there, and even though I bought a lot of stuff there it was extremely cheap!!! Before I didn't really like the store because all the fabric is remnants or stained, but if you are shopping for buttons or lace or zippers or vintage stuff it is amazing. To any body out there who sews: have fun!!

Summer and Class

These pictures are so lovely. It makes me want to go to the beach right now and run in the wind! I have not been to the beach in a while... well I guess I should get a bathing suit before I go. Anyway, you can tell by the writing on the first picture that these must be from a German magazine, probably Vogue! I love Vogue! They always have such awesome pictures and cool ideas! Oh I got a pair of adorable overalls and some amazing shoes!!! I will post about them tomorrow! Summer isn't really going the way I wish it was, but oh well(:

I went to my first sewing class at the J.C. last night and it was really fun. Some of the people in the class have never sewn before... which is a little bit of a bummer. But the teacher is amazing and she has done a lot of stuff in the fashion world. She seems like she has a lot of good advice about making it in the fashion world. And she is an amazing sewer. She passed around some of the things she had made and they looked totally professional and she said some had been sold in designer shops!!!! Ahhhhh! I am very excited to go to the next class. After this class I will probably take a pattern making class. Have fun in the sun!

Bazaar Cafe!

Last night I went to the Bazaar Cafe in San Francisco. They had a band called "Please do not Fight" there and it was so much fun. Every body who played where singer/ songwriters, they don't let you play cover sings there. My favorite was the "Please do not Fight" band. Their music was awesome and so much fun to listen to. The Bazaar Cafe does acoustic music so there cd sounded a little different then their performance, but both are amazing! Plus they gave me a free sticker and pins that had a cute owl on them!!!! Ahh! Adorable! The Bazaar Cafe sells yummy food and good drinks, so you get to eat and watch a performance. The shows are normally by donation, so you just donate what you can and it's really awesome!!!

Miu Miu!!

Hello again. I feel as if I have been away a long time when I haven't gone any where at all. Well, the last couple days I have been sitting at home with a bad sore throat. It's not one that just hurts to swallow, it is constantly hurting... but I'm not coughing at all... never!!! It i very strange... I also hate the fact that I always get sick on vacation, never during school or anything like that.

On a brighter note: I am completely obsessed with Miu Miu!!! The designs are so amazing and just so different!!! Each time she comes out with a new line I am fascinated by it! Her new pring 2010 line is probably my favorite though(: I want all the clothes from the line!! The shoes are a bit crazy, but I still love them!! I probably would not wear the shoes because they are platforms and just way too tall to even imagine walking in, but I want to own a pair just to have and look at. She is definitely my favorite designer right now!!! If only I had the money to fly to Paris and buy Miu Miu clothes from one of the five different shops they have there!!! (Maybe 6 or 7)

A Bike Ride

I went on a really nice bike ride the other day!!! It was so much fun just riding along. The weather was so nice and I just felt so free! Bike riding is one of my favorite things to do ever!!!! It is lots of fun to do with friends too!!! The only problem was that my back tire some how became flat on my way home. Hopefully it doesn't have a hole or something like that. Look at my lovely bike below!!! It is so amazing! All I need now is some baskets for the back and it will be perfect!!!

This is not a very good picture of me, but I couldn't help taking a picture with this gorgeous back ground on the bike path! Any way... I have been fixing tons of awesome clothes!! I will post some tomorrow! Loving the summer life and totally looking forward to making money and taking my lovely sewing class at the J.C.

Cherries!

This is a picture of a cherry tree branch which is located at the top of the hill in my apple orchard. If you look beyond the berries you can see the apple trees and then the forest! It is so lovely! The only thing I don't like is that the workers who own the place always go through and mow the whole field and turn the soil also and so the ground becomes dusty and turns into dirt clods instead of being covered in gorgeous golden grass! So sad, oh well. These cherries are very small and have large pits, they are also a bit sour compared to normal store bought cherries, but I like them still and am just glad I have a cherry tree at all!

Marais Usa Espadrille?

So, I have been trying to figure out what these kind of sandals are called because I have definitely seen them before, but they were leather and I don't think they were from Marais Usa, which is the only place I can find them at the moment!(Johnny) I remember having them as a kid, so one of my parents must know.... If any body knows, it would be awesome if you could tell me!!! (Johnny) I would just buy these ones, but hey are very expensive and they are not leather!!!! I want them leather..... I know I sound spoiled, but I'm really not. Leather sandals are just a lot nicer than fabric ones because they are more comfortable and fit your feet better (in my opinion). Any way, I have been obsessing over any type of lovely clothes lately and can't stop wanting to buy things. (Johnny) When I start to make some more of my own clothes it won't be so hard to resist buying nice clothes!!!(: (: (:

Anthropologie

Anthropologie always has such nice clothes! When I go on that site and start looking around it makes me want everything in their collection and its not just some of their collections, it's all of them! The only thing that bugs me about Anthropologie is that everything is so expensive, even the sale items are expensive, so I never get to buy anything from there because of the prices!

Both my dog and my cat are sleeping next to me as I write this! They are so adorable, just a minute ago my dog was barking in her sleep and twitching all over, like she was running in a dream or something. Today is not as sunny as yesterday and I really hope it doesn't start to rain! It is summer for goodness sake! NO more rain, s'il vous plait!!!

Vintage Sunglasses and Swimsuits!

Vintage bathing suits are so amazing! I want one so badly! Almost anything vintage is amazing, but seeing these pictures makes me want to go to the beach and wear those awesome swimsuits! Well I couldn't be happier because summer has come for me already! I am so ready for summer and have waited so long! Now that I have summer I'm not exactly sure what to do with it. I mean there are so many things I can do and so many things I don't have to do! It's definitely wonderful, but I just need a little bit of inspiration, something to get super excited about! Something like vintage swimsuits!!!!

Vintage sunglasses are even better! Because every body is into them now, so you can find them more easily and if you wear them you don't stand out like a pink flamingo among crows... not that standing out is a bad thing. I personally like to stand out, but I don't always get what I want. Sometimes I just fade into the back ground of other peoples lives. I hate that. Oh well, now is my chance to make it to the wide out doors! And I don't just mean outside I mean above and beyond what I have ever done before! Get ready every one cause I'm gonna make a huge splash!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope every one is having a lovely summer! enjoy the sun while you have it!
