Vintage Weddings

My great grandmother Taber wore this wedding dress, which has been handed down to me since I was named after her. Well not my first name, but my middle name. It is so old that some of the lace is so thin it rips when you touch it. It has also been attacked by moths which doesn't make it any easier to keep it from ripping. She must of worn a corset underneath the top because it is so tiny! I am a tiny person and I doubt I will be able to fit into it in a couple years.
There are spots where I can see that it had been hand sewn together. It is one magnificent pile of lace and silk! Wedding dresses are so much fun!
I would like to say happy birthday to my dearest friend! You know who you are! I love you!
